Tracking Beverage Consumption

Tracking Beverage Consumption

, , , ,

As some may know I’ve been trying to stop drinking coffee lately and I’ve been substituting in other sorts of drinks like tea, soda and water. Well, I’m failing miserably in my attempt to be coffee-free so I’m going to try and document what I’m drinking every day and see if that helps. It’s the same principle I apply to my monthly budget. Not constraining spending/drinking coffee, but just noting it and making myself aware. It’s usually a pretty good system, so let’s give it a go shall we? This is a running tally I’ll try to keep adding to as the days go on

Day 1 Consumption – Thursday, July 23

Gave myself a little dig about this

Day 2 Consumption – Friday, July 24

Day 3 Consumption – Monday, July 27

Day 4 Consumption – Tuesday, July 28

Day 5 Consumption – Wednesday, July 29

Day 6 Consumption – Thursday, July 30

Day 7 Consumption – Friday, July 31

Day 8 Consumption – Saturday, August 1

Day 9 Consumption – Sunday, August 2

Day 10 Consumption – Monday, August 3

Day 11 Consumption – Tuesday, August 4

Day 12 Consumption – Wednesday, August 5

Day 13 Consumption – Wednesday, August 6

Why are you trying to give up coffee completely? Moderation is the key. You give up coffee so you drink way too much tea instead? Sounds like giving up one habit for another to me!

  2. Tim says:

Well, tea is a lot healthier (depending on the kind), so I don’t mind as much. Eventually the goal is to be on water in the morning.

  3. Sister says:

Well coffee…too much anyway is bad for your brain. I do one cup a day. Just limit yourself to that, just make sure it is a good one!

  4. Tim says:

I think I’m almost done tracking this stuff. Maybe I’ll just go until day 14 and stop.
